Vamsi and Randy discuss the Game of Thrones
[HBO is releasing a miniseries based on book one of George RR Martin’s series, which began in 1996, and has not been completed…he released the books in 1996, 1998, 2000…then 2005, with 3 left unreleased. also he looks like this]
Randy: I don’t really think he’ll ever finish
me: i’m worried he’ll die
Randy: I’m about to order HBO to watch the show though
me: yeah i know some others that are
Randy: I’m fairly convinced he’ll die
Randy: dude isn’t in great shape
Randy: and it takes like 5 years per book
me: yes, he sounded wheezy when i met him
me: then in 05 he pulled that “oh this book 4 is so big, i’ll just make it 2!”…i stupidly believed that crows would be ‘05 and dragons would be ‘06
me: the first 3 came out every 2 years
Randy: haha, I believed the same thing
Randy: I think the problem is he spreads himself too thin now
me: there is nothing thin about that man
