This is interesting…this guy is basically this master puppeteer of the basketball world, more myth than man (think J Edgar Hoover, Cheney, Rove, Jafar, Axelrod, and Professor Slughorn all rolled into one). He’s supposedly very influential, with everyone from Lebron James to Michael Jordan to Allen Iverson to college coaches, and can basically hand deliver a recruit to the college of his choice. Supposedly, at least.
Anyway, him stepping into the public is interesting, not sure why he’s doing it. Either he sees a major revenue stream he isn’t tapping yet, he wants a bigger/more legit cut of the money that college sports entails, he’s too public to remain effective in the shadows, or the NCAA is cracking down on shady pseudoagent relationships such as the ones he forges, so he needs to go legitimate to continue at all.
