it’s crazy that no one our generation knows how - understandable, but something worth learning i think.
Why do we need to learn something when we can just google it?
That’s what I always end up doing with regular neckties too.
no this is the thing - google is fail at this. so a few weeks ago i went to an engagement and forgot my suit (grabbed wrong suitcase), so i had to go buy one.
i had the bright idea of being different and wearing a bow tie…then me and a friend (who’s smart as hell - runs a hedge fund) sat in the hotel room for like an hour and watched youtube videos/etc on his iphone and couldn’t figure it out.
I called the concierge, asked if someone could help, they said they’d check…they sent up some mexican dude whose advice was: “oh you just adjust the strap then hook it”. thanks diego but i didn’t get this from men’s warehouse.but yeah, steps 1-5 are simple and built for a child, and they walk through these slowly on the videos, then the main move to push the second bow through a hole is covered up by your hand, and rushed so you have no fucking clue what’s going on. oh well.

that big game was so much fun. loved their stadium. then i had zachary’s for the first time.
vamsi was bald, and i didn’t know?
hahahahaha - i waited until the night of the first show to shave my head into male pattern baldness (for a character in the show), slept with my hat on, showered in the middle of the night, and avoided my girlfriend, so all my friends (who came friday) were completely shocked. that was awesome.

As some of my friends know, I have a safe phrase that I remind them of every time I walk to a USC game…
